Jennifer Metsker is the Writing Coordinator at the Stamps School of Art and Design, University of Michigan, USA. She studied painting at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and has an MFA in poetry from the University of Michigan where she taught composition for over a decade at the Sweetland Center for Writing and the Department of English Language and Literature. She combines her knowledge of art and composition in her position at Stamps where she oversees all facets of writing instruction, including the senior thesis writing, the MFA thesis, grant and statement writing, and instruction on research writing in the field for all majors.
