Heather Moulaison Sandy
Biography
Heather Moulaison-Sandy is associate professor and director of graduate studies at the iSchool at the University of Missouri. Her research focuses on the intersection of organization of information (e.g., cataloging and classification) and digital information technologies (e.g., digital libraries and platforms) in support of scholarly communication, including topics relating to research data management. Moulaison-Sandy has published over 75 articles and nearly 50 peer-reviewed conference proceedings in this space, and has presented on these topics nationally and internationally (most recently as an invited professor at the Université de Lille in France in October, 2022). Moulaison-Sandy received her PhD from Rutgers, her MSLIS from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, and an MA in Interdisciplinary French Studies, also from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
