Justin Wyatt is Professor of Communication Studies and Film/Media at the University of Rhode Island, USA. He is the author of Creating the Viewer: Market Research and the Evolving Media Ecosystem (2024) and High Concept: Movies and Marketing in Hollywood (1994). He is the co-editor of Screening American Independent Cinema (2023), Refocus: The Later Films and Legacy of Robert Altman (2023) and Contemporary American Independent Film: From the Margins to the Mainstream (2005).
