Biography
Heidi Aronson Kolk is Assistant Professor at the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts and Assistant Vice Provost, Academic Assessment, at Washington University in St. Louis, USA. Her research explores the politics and practices of memory in the United States, attending especially to issues of race, urban identity, materiality and trauma. Kolk is author of Taking Possession: The Politics of Memory in a St. Louis Town House (2019) and co-editor of The Material World of Modern Segregation: St. Louis in the Long Era of Ferguson (2022).
