Jonathan Schroden is the Chief Research Officer at the CNA Corporation, USA. He previously served as the Research Director for the Afghanistan War Commission, the Director of CNA’s Countering Threats and Challenges Program, and the Director of CNA’s Special Operations Program. With over two decades of experience conducting research on irregular warfare, he also served as a strategic advisor at the International Security Assistance Force in Kabul, U.S. Central Command in Tampa, Multi-National Force – West in Fallujah, as well as the 2nd Marine Expeditionary Force and Marine Corps Special Operations Command at Camp Lejeune. He is an award-winning author and frequent commentator on television, radio, podcasts, and in print.
