Michele Holt is the founding Director of Nursing at Concord University in Athens, WV, where she has helped create three new Bachelor of Science in Nursing programs: A traditional BSN, BA/BS to BSN, and Online RN to BSN program. She received her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Central Florida. Prior to coming to Concord University, Holt was the Associate Dean of Nursing at Florida State College at Jacksonville, where she helped manage a nursing program that trains over 400 nurses each year. She has also worked closely with the Patient Safety Movement Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to patient safety and healthcare excellence.
