Hillary Burlock is Visiting Researcher at Newcastle University, UK. His research focuses on sociability, performance, politics and dance in Britain between 1760 and 1832. The co-editor of Bath and Beyond: The Social and Cultural World of the Georgian Assembly Room he is also a contributor to the Digital Encyclopaedia of British Sociability in the Long Eighteenth Century and a postdoctoral research associate on the Eighteenth-Century Political Participation and Electoral Culture Project."
