Michel De Dobbeleer is a Slavist, Classicist and Italianist, who has been working as a post-doctoral researcher at Ghent University, Belgium. He is also Visiting Assistant Professor in Applied Language Studies (Russian-Dutch) and Cultural Studies (Southeast Europe) at KU Leuven, Belgium. His research interests include the reception of Dutch literature in Eastern Europe and vice versa, and translations of and ‘transnational mentions’ in literary histories.
