Biography
Venetia Constantine read English at King's College, Cambridge University and holds an MA and PhD in Art History from the Courtauld Institute. After working in galleries for many years, and latterly as a freelance art consultant, she now writes fantasy and Gothic fiction, with a focus on themes close to her heart: complex familial relationships, journeys of self-discovery, mental health, and humanity;s relationship with the natural world. She's taken selective writing courses with Curtis Brown Creative, Faber Academy, and Jericho Writers. She was a mentor in the 2023 cycle of the Write Team Mentorship Program and her writing was Highly Commended in I Am In Print's 2023 I Am Writing Sci-Fi/Fantasy Competition. When not writing, Venetia is busy raising three young readers and a Bengal kitten in a windmill in North London.
