Biography
Delia Fian is crafting a handmade life in the Southern Appalachian mountains with her partner and daughter, in a stilt house they built from wood in the surrounding forest. She directs School of the Greenwood, a nonprofit rekindling connection to land through creative empowerment, where she teaches basketry to children and adults. Beyond teaching, Delia explores the fibers of place, weaving material culture that nurtures resilience, rootedness and a regenerative future.
