Michael Hrebeniak is Director of Studies and Senior Lecturer in English Literature and Visual Culture, at Wolfson College, University of Cambridge, UK. His monograph, Action Writing: Jack Kerouac’s Wild Form, was nominated for an MLA prize; recent publications include chapters on cinematic space, photography, manuscript culture and jazz writing. His first film, Stirbitch: An Imaginary was premiered in 2019 and he convenes the experimental New School of the Anthropocene.
