Pak Nung Wong is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Applied Social Studies, City University of Hong Kong. In 2001, he was simultaneously awarded the Sir Edward Youde Memorial Fellowship and the Sir John Swire Scholarship by the Hong Kong government and Oxford University respectively. He completed his doctoral study at St. Antony's College, Oxford. His books include: In Search of the State-in-Society (2009) and Farewell to the Crown Colony (2011).
